Last weekend saw Canna Camp Fest, the 3rd annual cannabis celebration held by John Holliday and Teeside Cannabis Club, which saw hundreds of people head to Redcar for a weekend of camping and cannabis.
The small size of the event certainly didn’t stop the press coverage, and running up to the festival several articles were published including this one on Gazette Live about Canna Camp Fest. This is great, as most of the events we have attended have had zero press coverage (except ISMOKE). Press coverage will ensure that the event continues to grow year on year.
We spoke to our correspondent up north, Winston Smith of Durham City Cannabis Club:
“It was a great opportunity for the clubs to meet up and discuss everyone’s favourite subject while educating the public on the myriad of benefits cannabis has. Although every attempt was made for the festival to go off without a hitch, nobody controls the winds of fate.
It must be said that Teeside Cannabis Club and all involved weathered all issues to put on a top event” – Winston, Durham City Cannabis Cub
There were a couple of issues with live music acts and high winds, but that didn’t stop the attendees having a good time, networking and celebrating cannabis.
Here are some more photos from the weekend:
We look forward to attending Canna Camp Fest 2017!
